APTLA’s conference morning will be spent canvassing the many important aspects of Wrongful Death claims and litigation. From the background of Wrongful Death claims to specific areas and questions posed live to experts, APTLA’s faculty will cover the berries of this common practice area. We will present cases, strategies and information useful to everyone, from the beginner to the seasoned litigator. Our afternoon will be spent covering five diverse areas of litigation, including: Securities, Expropriation, Wrongful Conviction, Estate Litigation and Wrongful Conviction. Each session will give you the basics of each practice area, giving you what you will need when your client surprises you with a new opportunity to represent them.

OTHER IMPORTANT CONFERENCE INFORMATION:

HOTEL ARRANGEMENTS:  APTLA has established a preferred room rate at the Delta Halifax for those attending the conference. These preferred rates are subject to availability. Hotel reservations should be made immediately. To book your room, please follow this reservation link or call the Delta Halifax directly at (902) 425-6700 and ask for "In-house Reservations" and mention that you are attending the APTLA Conference on November 4th. Please make your booking as soon as possible and before Thursday, October 13th, 2016. After that date, the Delta will release our Room Block and rooms will be subject to availability and regular pricing.

CANCELLATIONS & CUT OFFS : Conference registration cancellations must be received in the APTLA office no later than Thursday October 13th, 2016. We will issue a refund for the registration fee paid less a $50.00 processing fee. APTLA cannot accept cancellations after October 14th, 2016 and refunds will not be issued after that date. Substitution of another attendee from the same category of registration is always permitted, although we would appreciate notice of such substitutions. Hotel reservations must be made on or before end of day on Monday, October 17th, 2016 The Delta has been generous enough to extend our room block to this date, anyone looking for a hotel room after this date will not be able to take advantage of this specialty pricing.
