As APTLA celebrates its 20th year, we are in a place to look back on Personal Injury Practice over the last two decades and to look forward to the next two for our Members. We have created this conference to give thought and bring strategy to some of the things we wish we knew starting out as lawyers, and some of the things we will encounter as legal practitioners over the life of our careers. Join us for this program to both celebrate this important milestone with us, but to also consider thoughtfully what you know and what you need to know to be most effective in your civil trial practice and beyond.
APTLA's WHAT I WISH I KNEW BEFORE... Conference will include:
• What I wish I knew before I took my first Personal Injury case
• What I wish I knew before accepting my first Slip & Fall file
• What I wish I knew before I took my first Section D / Unknown Driver case
• What I wish I knew before accepting my first Sexual Assault file
• What I wish I knew before I took my first Catastrophic Injury case
• What I wish I knew before accepting my first Med Mal file
• What I wish I knew before taking a case in another province
• What I wish I knew before starting my own Law Firm
• What I wish I knew before planning my Retirement
We hope you will stay on for APTLA's 20th Anniversary Party, which will be the night of Friday, November 19th, 2021. Twenty years is a significant milestone for any association. For us, it has been twenty years of our Members sharing their knowledge and experience; working to preserve victims’ rights to tort recovery and directly opposing tort recovery restrictions; and, consistently presenting first-class skill-sharpening legal education programs for our Members. The details of the APTLA's 20th Anniversary Party are not yet set, but please mark it in your calendars. We would love to see you there.
